WHAT IS THE OUTER LIMITS TOUR?

  

    The Outer Limits Tour is a traveling freestyle motorsports show inlcuding ATV's, Snowmobiles and Dirtbikes.  The tour is based out of South Portland, Maine but has performed as far away as Michigan.  The Outer Limits Tour features riders from the Rave X freestyle team.  If you have been to a show then you know we love what we do and, most importantly, we love our fans!

    The owners of Rave X Motorsports, Ralph Gallagher and Dave Carlberg, started hosting freestyle shows in 2005 with a small freestyle ramp and some good friends.  The next thing they knew, their friends started throwing big air and huge tricks.  The ramp gaps got bigger and the tricks got gnarlier.  One thing led to another and they went from back yard company parties to performances in front of thousands of people.

    In 2009, the once small freestyle operation was dubbed the Outer Limits Tour thanks to a collaboration with its first sponsor, Trapper from Mission Trailers.  

    Trapper was the first person to see the potential of the shows and hooked the guys up with three trailers and a sled deck to tow their gear and sleds around.  Trap also helped fund the first year's shows to help demonstrate the value of freestyle to potential venues.

    Now, with a few more big sponsors and hundreds of crazed fans, the tour has turned in to a movement to change the face of snowmobiling in the Northeast.

     Big shout out to Fly Racing back for year two taking over the title sponsorship for the Outer Limits Tour and FRESH DVD series. 
     Inspired by longstanding tradition and a rich culture in the steep and deep snows of the Rocky Mountains, Triple 9 Optics was established in 2012 in beautiful Idaho, a state that has turned out some of the best hill climb, backcountry, and freestyle snowmobile riders in the nation. After listening to what the industry and riders wanted, we recognized the need for snowmobile-specific optics that went beyond the standard dual-lens motocross goggle. Fly Racing snow goggles were created to meet the specific demands of today’s snowmobile riders.
